One of the most unique wedding venues in Toronto has to be Graydon Hall. In the heart of Toronto sits a gorgeous Georgian-style manor that gives the perfect fairytale backdrop for anyone who chooses it.
I am so fortunate to have worked with Emma and Dennis for their intimate, elegant wedding at Graydon Hall.
This beautiful couple came together in early November for the wedding of their dreams. And we at Classy Affairs brought it together for them!
Deciding On the Wedding Day Vision
From the beginning, Emma and Dennis wanted a very elegant, lavish wedding. They love the finer things in life, and they wanted to feel as if they were a part of a fairytale on their dream day.
Choosing the Winter Wedding Day Colour Palette
These two decided on a beautiful late fall, early winter wedding. And they used the season of their wedding day when deciding their colour palette. Emma loved the colour palette option of burgundy, blushes, and creams. And on her special day, it truly came together for an ethereal, princess-style aesthetic!
Selecting Graydon Hall for the Wedding
After sitting with them and discussing how they envisioned their day, I knew it was going to be the most perfect day.
They wanted to feel like a prince and princess on their day. And Graydon Hall was the most fantastic option for them!
The style of the venue fit their wedding theme and aesthetic perfectly. Plus, they loved that every space they needed for the entire day was on one property. Emma and Dennis were able to get ready on location. And the ceremony and reception were there, saving their guests from having to move from one venue site to another.
Personally, I love creating Graydon Hall weddings because of the history and charm of the venue. There are so many unique spots, nooks, and crannies all throughout the property. Not to mention, the gardens are incredible!
Overcoming Challenges at a Graydon Hall Wedding
Like many of the weddings throughout 2021, the pandemic proved to be the biggest challenge for this Graydon Hall wedding.
We needed to plan around Covid restrictions, which were always changing. Planning a wedding can be stressful in and of itself. So piling these ever-changing guidelines on top caused a lot of frustration for Emma and Dennis.
But, that’s exactly what my team and I help our couples with. We navigated the restrictions and guidelines so Emma and Dennis could relax and enjoy their engagement!
Ultimately, we created an elegant, intimate wedding that even Disney would be proud of.
The Best Part of Emma & Dennis’s Graydon Hall Wedding
The moment Emma and Dennis walked into the main room after it was fully transformed and seeing their faces – that was by far the best part of their Graydon Hall wedding. They had gone through so much to get to their special day. I wanted them to be ecstatic with what my team and I created. We were able to allow them to soak up every moment of their day without having to worry about a thing!
Emma and Dennis’s Graydon Hall wedding was a gorgeous, elegant affair that was worthy of a fairytale. After months of revisiting plans due to the pandemic, they finally had the intimate wedding in an ethereal, unique Toronto wedding venue.
