Vanilla Florals Ballroom Wedding | Victoria & Paolo
This gorgeous vanilla, cream and opalite coloured wedding was 3-Month Coordination package for the couple! Victoria’s sister got married a year or two prior and didn’t have a great planning experience with who was hired, so their priority was to ensure they hired someone they could trust and not add any unnecessary stress to the day. Babylon Decor did a fabulous job of executing their decor vision for this event and I ensured all the vendors followed their contract and gave Victoria and Paolo what they envisioned for their magical wedding day!
Vanilla & Opalite Floral Wonderland
I brought this vision to life at La Primavera Event Space in the GTA, transforming the ballroom into a soft, layered experience of white blooms, candlelight, and refined elegance. And while the final result looked seamless and serene, the truth behind a wedding like this is far more intricate than it appears. A lush white and cream floral design is not just “white flowers everywhere.” It’s texture, dimension, and restraint working together. The goal is never to make it look empty or overdone, but to strike that balance where everything feels intentional and elevated.
Ballroom venues like La Primavera already offer a strong foundation: high ceilings, grand chandeliers, and a natural sense of occasion. But that also means design has to work with the architecture, not against it. Florals need to scale appropriately so the space feels full, but not crowded. Tablescapes must complement the room’s proportions. Even lighting plays a critical role in how the whites and neutrals translate in photographs and in person.
Our approach at Classy Affairs is to build these weddings backwards from the guest experience. What do people feel when they walk in? What do they notice first? Where does the eye move next? Every floral placement, every candle, every table setting is designed to guide that experience naturally. And while white florals might seem simple, they actually require more discipline than bold color palettes. There’s nowhere to hide inconsistencies. Everything has to be cohesive: tone, texture, scale, and placement all working in harmony.
That’s the kind of experience Classy Affairs is always aiming to create: refined, immersive, and deeply personal weddings where beauty is felt just as much as it is seen.
