When coordination begins just four weeks out, there’s limited time to build trust with your vendor team, review contracts in detail, identify gaps, or troubleshoot challenges before they become day-of stressors.

Couples often don’t realize how many questions arise in those final weeks:

Who is managing vendor arrivals and setup details?

Has the timeline been pressure-tested for real-life flow?

Are there contingency plans for weather, delays, or last-minute changes?

Who is the point of contact so the couple isn’t fielding calls on their wedding day?

And honestly…that’s just the most common ones. Trying to answer all of this in a condensed time-frame can feel rushed, for both the couple and the planner.

Starting at the three-month mark allows us to step into your planning process at a meaningful point. By then, most major vendors are booked, and your vision is taking shape but there’s still enough time to refine, organize, and elevate every detail.

With a longer coordination window, we’re able to:

  • Develop a comprehensive, realistic timeline that accounts for every moment of your day
