2019 Toronto Weddings Recap

2020 is well underway, but what’s a New Year without highlighting our 2019 Toronto weddings recap? The 2019 wedding season was definitively one for the books! We had so many unique weddings that we were a part of, each of them special in their own way.

Our season started right from the beginning of January with two weddings along with one in March.

January and March

Amanda & Mike’s winter wonderland wedding was so beautiful! It lightly snowed which made it so perfect for photos. They were the sweetest couple with the most darling girls. It took place at one of our favourite venues, Paradise Banquet Hall.

April showers!

In April we had one of the most beautiful bridal showers we have ever got to plan. It was a beautiful springtime theme for Anna & Alex with gorgeous blooms by Rachel A. Clingen and top-notch place settings by Plate Occasions at the wonderful Graydon Hall. All photos by the amazing Mango Studios.

May

May brought beautiful celebrations with Sharon & Johnny’s stunning purple Spring wedding. They were such a fun couple; Johnny always had a budget at top of mind but accommodated to what Sharon wanted which made each meeting complete with lots of laughs and always about the $$$ – not mention we came in under budget for the wedding! May was also our very own Tanya’s baby shower before the birth of her son Adonis. What a gorgeous day that turned out to be

June

Next up in the 2019 Toronto weddings reap is June! June was busy with Anna & Alex’s stunning Art Gallery of Ontario wedding. This one is still top secret as we are hoping it will get picked up by a magazine – that just tells you the caliber of vendors who were involved to make it so awesome. We also had Pamela & Lucas’ stunning outdoor tented wedding. We have never been to a wedding filled with so much love. These two hold a really special place in our memory and it was an honour to be a part of their day.

July

July brought a very busy month for us with Peggy & Jason’s unique Archeo wedding. Peggy was growing her own flowers for her wedding – how cool is she?!  As well as Alana & Tyler’s elegant all-white affair at Paradise Banquet Hall. In between those two weddings, Tanya had her healthy baby boy!

August and September

August and September didn’t slow down. Skye & Alec’s exceptionally creative wedding at the Gladstone Hotel started the month. Followed by our second wedding at Archeo with Melissa & Jim. The September long weekend was non-stop as Delia & Alex and Grace & Matt got married. Oksana got to work with Maya from Purple Tree Photography which was amazing and Lucie & Kira got to work with the sweetest husband-wife duo from Hello Inspira.

October

Lorelle & Patrick’s gorgeous fall Doctors House wedding followed by Mallory & Ron’s Beauty and the Beast wedding at Hockley Valley ended off our September. October was busy with Vish & Julia at the Globe & Mail Centre, Laura & Justin at Chateau Le Parc and lastly Stephanie & Anas at Paramount. All such stunning weddings! The season ended with the baptism of Adonis which was the perfect way to end the year.

November-December

These months were full of gratitude, reflection, and growth for our business!

As always, we step back and reflect on what a wonderful year it was with each of our clients. No day is ever perfect, but our goal is always to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible. We try to resolve any issues that may arise without having to involve the bride and groom. Sometimes things don’t work out the way we exactly would hope but throughout reflections we strive to get better and better.

We are so looking forward to the 2020 season and all the beauty we will be surrounded by. We are going to be at our favourite venues once again and cannot wait to see how each and every couple makes their day as special as it can be!
