Samantha and I go way back to our Starbucks days (yes, I made a great frappuccino back in the day). She was right there beside me, cheering me on and believing in me when I took the leap into wedding planning full-time nine years ago. So when she introduced me to her longtime boyfriend Nick (who I also happened to know because I went to school with his sister and basically watched him grow up), I was already invested.

When they asked Classy Affairs to be part of their wedding planning journey, it honestly meant the world.

Their wedding day was the perfect blend of personal, stylish, and effortlessly joyful (aka exactly what I love to create as a Toronto wedding planner). Samantha and Nick brought in Nick’s cousin Natalie to design the overall wedding style, and let me tell you, the vision was strong. My role? To take that vision and execute it flawlessly with an incredible team of wedding vendors. Natalie designed three different table layouts (because why choose one when you can have three?), and with the stunning venue setting, every space felt intentional and beautifully curated.

The day itself was calm, relaxed, and full of presence which was truly the dream. Samantha and Nick got ready at the cutest little inn near their venue before heading to their lakeside ceremony at The Royal Ambassador. If you’re searching for a GTA wedding venue with waterfront views, this one delivered. The June weather was absolute perfection, like Mother Nature understood the assignment.

Thanks to an amazing Toronto wedding photographer and videography team, Samantha and Nick were able to actually enjoy their wedding day. While they relaxed and mingled, we handled the logistics behind the scenes. Watching their reactions to the full setup and knowing they could be fully present was the most rewarding part.

This wedding was proof that when trust, great design, and expert wedding coordination come together, magic happens. Samantha & Nick, your day was everything and then some
